Thank you, Mina,

Good luck with your blog. We're all for teaching children to enjoy eating food in healthy, well-balanced meals shared with family and friends.

I completely agree that when treating an eating disorder the entire family needs to be treated. Please check out my blog, www.teachchildrenaboutfood.ning.com, and share your thoughts on how to sustain children's healthy relationship with food. Thanks.

This is such a great article. A lot of the time, the parents of children with eating disorders handle the situation wrong (with the best of intentions of course) and it ends up making the situation worse. So I definitely agree with this, that the whole family needs to go into counseling, in order to support and move the child in the right direction. I have a website, www.shareWIK.com, and would love to hear from you! ShareWIK (share What I Know) is a website devoted to bringing together women from all different situations and backgrounds (as well as a few men!) to talk about their experiences and learn from each other. We are taking about Eating Disorders this week on ShareWIK, and I would love your intake. Just sign in to get started. Hope to hear from you!
- Diana Keough
P.S. And keep up the great work!

Thank you! You might be interested to know that the Harris Center is putting on its next public forum at Harvard on March 23rd. The topic will be "Health Matters: Weight and Wellness in the World of Fashion," and the guest panelists will be Vogue editor Anna Wintour, designer Michael Kors and model Natalia Vodianova. I hope there are a lot of attendees there to ask the hard questions of this high-powered panel.

Take care,
